Rental
Ozone generator rental programs are ideal for demonstration
and
pilot studies. People have also utilized these rental units
if their ozone generator fails and a quick replacement is
needed.
Some companies rent very low powered ozone generators of 500
mg.hr or less. That sized ozone machine is simply not powerful
enough to kill mold in a basement or to remove serious odors
like cigarette smoke. For a 40 x 40 foot basement it is recommend
at least a 6000 mg/hr ozone generator or larger.
That's a high price to pay for something that you don't get
to keep.
Most companies renting ozone generators also require a security
deposit of a credit card authorization of $1000 or more to
guarantee that you will return the ozone generator.
That means for the entire time you have their machine they
will put $1000 of you money, plus the cost of the ozone rental
itself, on hold until you return the machine
